Bassingbourn Youth Football Club (BYFC) is a thriving, friendly club based in the
village of Bassingbourn on the Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire border, a few miles north of Royston (maps here). Our players come from Bassingbourn and the surrounding villages.
In season 2006-7 we will run an U6's Soccer Club, mixed Under 7, 8, 9 and 10 teams in the Royston Crow League, an Under 12 Girls team in the Cambridgeshire FA league and an
Under 12 boys team in the Royston Crow League. We have close links to Bassingbourn Football Club, Bassinbourn Village College and local primary schools.
The club is affiliated to the Cambridgeshire FA.
Bassingbourn Youth Football Club is committed to: - Fun through Football - Fair play - Respect for All - regardless of age, sex, ability, creed, colour, team etc - No swearing, fighting
- Good sportsmanship & conduct - Giving players a balanced approach to the game (ie varying positions)
We aim to provide fun through educational coaching, training and matches in an
atmosphere where players can learn and further their football skills with positive encouragement but without peer pressure.
In 2004 we were awarded FA Charter Standard status.
